Caroline Cascio is a master’s educated communications and arts professional whose academic excellence is matched by a lifelong commitment to music, creativity, leadership, and service. A three-season athlete and dedicated musician throughout high school, Caroline developed exceptional time management, discipline, and work ethic skills that continue to shape her professional life, skills she now applies as both a middle school and varsity coach and a private violin teacher. An accomplished violinist and visual artist, she served as concertmaster of the American University Symphony Orchestra for three years, performed as first violinist in multiple chamber ensembles, and was recognized with the 2023 Evelyn Swarthout Hayes Award and as a finalist in the university’s Concerto and Aria Competition. Beginning violin at age five, she later became co-concertmaster of The Capitol Symphonic Youth Orchestras, performing at renowned venues including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and Capital One Arena. Caroline has also dedicated more than 2,000 hours to service through the Georgetown Lombardi Arts and Humanities Program, bringing music to hospital patients across a variety of care settings. Beyond performance, she is an award-winning ceramicist, entrepreneur, and founder of Crumbs by Caroline, a baking business launched during the COVID-19 pandemic. Whether coaching, teaching, creating, or leading, Caroline brings focus, creativity, and a collaborative spirit to everything she does, reflecting a deep commitment to excellence and meaningful impact.
